In April 2022, I started this project for fun. Asked my friend Josh to give me an album concept, you know what he said? “A story about you falling in love with your cousin, and not knowing y’all are cousins until years into the relationship. Then you kill him and name it ‘My Bloody Valentine’.” Hard SKIP. That came out of someone who watches too many A24 films. I took inspiration from that and made it about someone I stalk, finding out we have the same ex, killing the ex, and ultimately killing the main guy for not liking me after the ex-ing of the ex. Thus, My Bloody Valentine was born and released through Soundcloud on May 9, 2022. My birthday! However it is getting an official release on Feb. 14, 2023. Get ready for blood.
